Hi, I’m Daniele, I believe in God. I believe in seeking God in all I do. I believe that birth work is spiritual work. I believe that to be invited into a woman’s birth space is honorable, and sacred, and something I take incredibly seriously. I believe words are incredibly powerful.

I believe that pregnancy and birth are unique times where women can be incredibly fragile and suggestible, and special care must be taken when we speak about pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I believe that our minds are incredibly powerful and your thoughts become your reality. Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinking, so is he.

I believe that anything outside of what a mother and baby do instinctually is a disturbance to them in birth. I believe that pregnancy and birth are transformative and a right of passage into motherhood. I believe that a live baby is the bare minimum, and not the goal. I believe that the goal should be a healthy and resilient mother and baby, with a birth that draws us all nearer to the Lord.

I believe birth matters and how a woman feels in birth can follow her for the rest of her life. I believe that how a baby is born has lifelong consequences. I believe nutrition is the most profound thing you can do with your physical body to have a healthy and enjoyable conception, pregnancy, birth, baby, and postpartum period.

I believe in getting macronutrients and micronutrients from whole foods whenever possible. I believe in trusting a woman’s intuition, always. I believe that childbirth is normal until proven otherwise. I believe that babies will be born just fine no matter where you are, or who is in attendance.
